And we have our first ear infection post tubes. I was hoping not to spend the winter at the Dr. office, lets pray this is an anomaly.

Also, I think all of our furniture is covered with either baby throw up or Dallas snot. Is there any point in getting new furniture after this stage of life, or with the kid years and teenage years be just as hard on the recliner...

A peek at my week

I love these. This is what I asked for from my Grandparents house. I remember staring at these in the buffet since I was little. And stopping into thrift stores with Grandma and having her find one and pick it up for a quarter. I split the lot with my Aunt as she wanted them too. I am not sure what it is, perhaps depression glass? I would love more, and I think it shall go on my Christmas list permanently. I only have four plates, 3 red and one green. I also have 4 sherbet cups? and the rest are glasses, mostly green, but I have blue, purple, red, yellow and orange. They are so pretty, I wish I could display them in the sunlight or in a door less cabinet!
My Grandma F came to visit Noelle. They snuggled the afternoon away!

Emily's new science project. It is growing "hair" that you can even cut! A great gift from my Aunt Sherrie, thanks.

Sleepy baby, why do all my kids sleep with their hand on their chins?

and lastly a sneak peek of the costumes, still a work in progress

The Office, brought to you by Rob Kibbe

Clicking on the picture will make it bigger
I found this lying on the counter top one morning waiting for me. Rob leaves early twice a week for Men's Frat and his Bible study. I am usually too lazy to see him off, unless I am up with a kid. This encompasses a lot of what I love about Rob. He left it for me with zero explanation, yet I totally get it!

I think we are kicking Mediacom to the curb. We have had the service guy out several times the last couple of months, not to mention all the calls and time Rob spends on hold. It has proven itself unreliable for our needs. Next up Qwest and DSL perhaps.

Dallas has gotten his first cold of the season, we have used the neubulizer as needed, but the ears seems great! I am more than glad we decided to get those tubes.

Emily has been having a good week. We are busy cramming her Bible verse today for Awana tonight. It slipped my mind and we didn't start very early. She is working on
mine eyes have seen Thy salvation -Luke 2:30

Noelle is also doing well. She continues to lose more hair, but I have gotten used to the new look. I read it might be a sign of cradle cap, although instead of a dry, scaly scalp she has a rough bumpy scalp. Probably the same thing, different symptoms.

Yesterday I had it out with my Tupperware cabinet yesterday. It cause Rob and I undue stress in the morning when I am packing lunches or snacks. Marriage is hard enough we shouldn't fight over the Tupperware! I matched everything up, all the randoms with out a lid or extra lids went into the garbage. I am thinking about scrapping the whole cabinet and re-investing in some new stuff, all the same brand. Does anyone have any solutions, and a pretty, easy to use system.

I also think I am going to invest in some more silverware. It has become increasingly apparent that having 8 spoons, 8 forks for a family of five, that eats all meals at home 97% of the time is just not enough.

Noelle is ONE month old!

Getting her first bottle

After the first bath

Cliche, but time does fly. I have packed all the newborn onsies away (for a friend). Noelle has been a real blessing this month. She doesn't give us much to worry about. She eats, throws up, and sleeps. She will occasionally smile at Rob or I. She does seem to have a lot more discomfort with gas and throwing up than the other two I nursed. I am entering the next two weeks trying to eliminate major dairy from my diet to see if things improve for her. She has lost a ton of hair, all in the male pattern baldness area, she still has ton of hair in the back.

Gnomes or noses

Santa Gnome
Can you hug a gnome?

World's largest, only in Ames, Iowa

Eatting our apples and reading the map

We checked out the Gnomes this morning. This has been on my summer to do list, but Fall was a perfect time, we had the entire place to ourselves. I think Dallas thought they were "noses" because every gnome we saw he went and pinched the nose of the gnome.

sweet, sweet drugs

I did have a UTI or bladder infection, not sure what the difference is. I am disappointed that my antibiotics are Hawkeye colored, but I have had two thus far and have seen an improvement!
