Pulmicort

Has anyone read this article?  This is one of the drugs Dallas takes when he is sick or wheezey.  I guess I will ask our ped about growth issue.  I need to look up this study and read it for myself.  You never know which way the media is bending stuff.

I heard it on NPR this morning. Kids who took it had a 1/2 inch decrease in growth over other kids, but also better asthma control and less hospitalizations. I'd be curious if pediatricians stop prescribing it now or if they still think the benefits outweigh the risks.
