Dallas finished the first workbook of 1st grade math, it has become a little tradtion for me to snap a picture and for the kids to get a solo date with Dad to the gas station to pick out a gumball lollypop.
They built this snowman almost all by themselves. I saw them really sturggling to try to lift the torso-ball onto the lower base ball, and hopped on out to lift it up for them. They got the head on themselves. It was a really wet, heavy snow. Emily wanted it to last two days, and then the girls allowed Dallas to tackle it, which is what he wanted. He spent an entire playdate with a friend building snowman and then tackling them.
I bought a blizzard snow day puzzle, but then the blizzard never happened, we started it anyway.
We did finally get some blowing snow a couple of storms later
This is the February stage set at church where the kids worship and have small group time. It changes each month and goes along with the virtue of the month they are studying. bHe turned the corner into the room and was amazed and raced back out to grab us to show us.
