5 years

We have lived in Iowa five years. (the second time around) I celebrated this week by going to renew my drivers license. It was a surprisingly wonderful experience. I took the kids and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Now I have a newly voided license and flimsy piece of paper acting as a temporary license and out $20 bucks. I lied and did not note my pregnancy weight, I don't want that number around for the next 5 years.

A lot has changed in the last five years, but some things have remained static. It seems like our time here has flown by and yet we get the itch to move and change things up! I miss MN summers, a lot! But I cannot imagine a life in the cities with my little family.
Here is a little flashback, these pictures were pre-blog so I am sure no-one has seen them...
The Nova making it's triumphant return to Ames, we were grabbing it from the farm Packing up at our place in MN
This is why we can no longer just rent one truck to move, this is the biggest they have and we filled it!

We went to church before we left town, this place was special to us, Rob and I we re-introduced to God there. Saying goodbye to Ron and Sally (head pastor)
